About Us

We keep horses in Brigstock and competed with our Dutch Warmblood Thomas locally and at County show level.  Until his retirement in 2008 he competed at dressage, showed and enjoyed the occasional day out with the Woodland Pytchley Hunt.  He sadly passed away in late 2011.  Thomas was the inspiration behind my training as a bridlemaker and starting Equestrian and Canine.

I gained a degree in Rural Resource Development (Wildlife and Conservation Management) at Writtle Agricultural College in 1996. I subsequently trained as a bridlemaker with Master Saddler Robin Coleman in Kenilworth, and in 2005 commenced trading as “Equestrian and Canine”.  I undertake all the leather goods manufacturing and repairs.

Kiri has owned horses all her life and attended Writtle Agricultural College where she studied for a National Diploma in horse studies.  She has worked as a professional groom in a private yard in Belgium, and for a number of years at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire looking after their hunt and stud yards.  Kiri conducts the business administration.
