Measuring Service

For bespoke leatherwork, we are able to visit you at your premises to take measurements, and for subsequent fitting.  Due to the current high fuel prices, a charge of £10.00 up to 12.5 miles or 40p per return mile over that from NN16 is charged for this service for the initial visit, and 40p per mile from NN16 for any subsequent fitting.  Any further visits following adjustment are not charged.

If you wish to take your own measurements an advice sheet explaining what we require can be sent by post or Email.

Deposit

A materials deposit of 20% is requested for all bespoke goods, based on the estimated price for work.

Collection and Delivery

We are happy for repairs to be dropped off by appointment or posted to us - please telephone or Email if you would like to do this.  Alternatively, we can collect and deliver, and a charge of 50p per mile from NN16 is made for this service.  We will also collect and deliver for free at Dodson & Horrell Country Store, Spencer Street, Ringstead NN14 4BX.

Delivery Times

All goods ordered are hand made in response to that order.  We always endeavor to deliver as soon as possible after an order is placed, though for most goods please allow approximately four weeks.  For more complicated orders, such as headcollars, bridles and cases, please allow six to eight weeks.  We will keep in touch with you and update you on the progress of your order if requested.

Trade Stand

We have a 3m x 4m trade stand with which we attend country fairs, equestrian events and dog shows.  We carry a small stock of hand made collars and leads, and display a range of other goods, as well as demonstrating leather working and undertaking repairs on site.  Please contact us if you would like to book us for an event.
